KALLO CHICKEN GRAVY GRANULES
At last, gluten-free gravy granules . You just simply add the sachet contents to 300ml of boiling water and stir, just like any other gravy granules. It dissolves well and tastes really nice, not powdery or starchy. There is no added MSG and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives either – bonus! My roast chicken dinner is now complete.
MRS CRIMBLES BREAD CRUMBS
I absolutely love these, they are nice and crispy and make wonderful gluten free fish fingers, or fish goujons if you want to be posh! Or, if you don’t want to bother cutting your fish fillets into nice little fingers, then just coat the whole fillet. I like to pan fry them so they go all golden brown and remain crispy. I have also used them in my chicken pasta bake, just sprinkle them on to for a crispy topping. No doubt I will be finding more uses for them soon, but for now here are some pictures of them in action!
NEWBURN BAKEHOUSE WRAPS
These have been on the market for a while now and I always have a packet in my freezer ready for an easy lunch. You just pop one out of the freezer and rest it on a piece of kitchen towel and by the time you have made your cuppa and prepped your filling, they are defrosted and ready to make. This is my favourite: Roasted chicken with avocado, mayo and baby salad leaves. Other fillings I do are grated cheese with salad and chopped tomato or tuna with mayo and onions with salad. Yum.
